Prince Opoku, Popularly known in the music industry in Ghana as Kesh Prynz is a student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Obuasi campus. Kesh Prynz is a third-year Business administration student with a natural talent for music. His streams surpassed 5.1 thousand streams on Spotify within just 309.3 hours. His music is ranked as listened to in over 9 countries and still counting. Luxembourg, Spain, Canada, Switzerland and Germany to mention a few.
The Obuasi campus Superstar according to his talent and recognition has been nominated for several awards which include the national academy of student achievements awards, the prime excellence youth awards and many more.
An interview had with him and he quoted “A true Afrobeat/Afropop Artist from Ghana, West Africa, who has got the passion for music and wants to share his talent with the rest of the world. i do what i do best and music does really matter. Touching lives and souls through music is what i do and since the remedy to panic is praise, so are my songs.
“Afrobeats and Afropop have a distinctive quotation to the genre which makes life to be viewed differently; beign relaxed, in love, sad or in the mood for some upbeat songs. Hence, my passion in this particular genre. I prefer my music to speak to my fans and audience globally rather than talking about myself. I prefer my fans learn more bout me through my stories.My track helps show the struggles of doing my best to reach the highest table in the music industry but as we know, sometimes, times and opportunities make is scare for this to happen. Moreover, it illustrates me believing in the opportunities that lies ahead of me as my music is distributed across the various music platforms and as a way, bring attention to my talent”.
