Mariam, an Islamic beauty model has made history as she emerges the First Lady ever to win the Miss Akwaaba pageant competition on KNUST, Obuasi campus.
Her win was first announced at the Obuasi Sports Complex(OSC) with a cheerful charade from the crowd as she was crowned dutifully.
The Pageant was to award talent, beauty and hardwork on the part of its contestants. Among the six beautiful ladies, Mariam, popularly known as “Mimi” emerged the winner with an outstanding personality and performance.
Our sponsors also chaired the event by donating amazing items to all our contestants. Yeski pizza, Ank k prints, Ezuah business, PAB intelligence driving school and DCM were some of our sponsors.
Meanwhile, the event itself was presented by Uniqueen events in partnership with the Campus SRC.
