VGMA 2022 nominees list announced six musicians to compete for the Artiste of the year crown. Ace broadcaster, Nana Aba Anamoah is shocked to the bone after Kinaata was conspicuously missing from nominees for the VGMAs Artiste of the year 2022. The list of the nominees that were released has engendered conversation with some questioning why certain musicians did not earn nominations for certain categories.
In a tweet, Nana Aba Anamoah wondered “ah wait oo, Kinaata wasn’t nominated for the artiste of the year?”
Abeiku Santana could not also fathom why Kinaata and fameye were not nominated in the Artiste of the year category. In an outburst of his show, Abeiku said:
“so chartered house and VGMA in what ways have Kofi Kinaata and fameye wronged you? Chartered House, organizers of VGMA, I’m asking how they have wronged you? What have they done to the extent that they weren’t nominated for the artiste of the year category. Keep doing that.”
“Keep on being selective and unfair and continue to nominate your friends and anytime it is time for these two(Kinaata and Fameye) to be rewarded, they don’t get it! Just look at their work; look at how hard they have worked. Why are you been unfair. Your reward is in the hand of Shatta Wale” He fumed.
