Kendrick Lamar in Ghana, Promotes New Album With ‘trotro’

American rapper Kendrick Lamar has launched a new campaign to spread his presence in Ghana and promote his new album ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’.

The rapper, in collaboration with Spotify, is promoting his work using the public transportation system in the country. Kendrick Lamar has been in Ghana as part of the promotion and marketing of his album. Also to get a feel of Ghana as the preferred destination for many worldwide.

The musician has been in the country for a while ahead of his new album ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ which was released on May 13, grapevine sources reveal. Lamar’s visit to Ghana is part of a partnership project with a giant streaming platform to promote his album, we are told.

This album follows Lamar’s Pulitzer-winning 2017 album Damn. Since then, he’s curated and helmed the Black Panther soundtrack, headlined Coachella and Top Dawg Entertainment’s Championship Tour, won a bunch of Grammy Awards, and been nominated for an Oscar.
