Amos K is a Kumasi based artiste, who started recording music back in 2018.

Amos K combines English, Twi and Pidgin to rap in an allegro style while infusing elements of drill music yet swaying away from the crashing nature of the genre. His sound is more of contemporary rap with catchy rollicking rhymes playing as his strength.

The rapper is heavily influenced by Kwesi Arthur, EL, Sarkodie & UK based rapper Central Cee. The young talent has carved out an unforgettable name for himself with his playful yet hard bars coupled with the zeal to reach the zenith of his career.

This led to him being billed to perform with Asakaa heavyweights like Jay Bhad, City Boy, Reggie at the biggest concert in Kumasi in 2021 – 9 over 9 Summer Jam by YGA O’Kenneth and being granted an interview with Mr Bonez on Music Plus (Kessben TV).

This is the perfect time to extensively experience the rapper in his creative element after the success of his last single “Lighter” on all digital platforms.

The Young Black Boy EP preaches the street gospel of love, unity, determination and hard work with the element of fun sprinkled throughout the groove of each song. The spirit of not letting anything get in your way to success which he mentioned in his interview with Mr. Bonez on Music Plus (Kessben TV) on October 6 is perfectly captured in the theme of the project.

The Young Black Boy EP highlights all the energy and hard work Amos K has put in over the years as he eyes to reach the zenith of his career.

DC Truth, Kid Kwesi, Kwame Dabie etc. Production credits go out to the ever-talented Bxndit, 85 Savage, Immortalwolve, Masashi and Amos K himself.
