French Ambassador to Ghana, Her excellency Anne Sophie-Ave spoke at an event held in KNUST.
In her speech, she advised young Ghanaians to stay at home and build Ghana because there is no place like home.
H.E. Anne Sophie-Ave made these comments while addressing students at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (knust). She was invited as a special guest to attend the National Union Of Ghana Students (NUGS), General Assembly which took place at the KSB block C Auditorium.
She stated in her brief comments to the students present, “You shouldn’t leave the country (Ghana) for greener pastures elsewhere, there is no place like home”.
She also underlined the importance of women to the economic development of the country.
“Mothers are the pillars of the country” She added, according to comments posted on the campus news platform, WatsUp Tek.
