Ghana FA Finally Announces Squad to Face Nigeria

The much anticipated Ghana squad list for an upcoming playoff game against Nigeria is out on Tuesday morning after what was described as a ‘special strategy’ by the Ghana Football Association to keep the squad close to their chest.

Interim Black Stars coach Otto Addo belatedly announced his squad to cross swords with West African neighbours Nigeria.

The Black Stars players started arriving into the country on Monday ahead of the playoffs. The squad will start training on Tuesday for the crucial encounter.

Goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott maintains his place in the squad after calls to omit him. AS Roma youngster Felix Afena-Gyan who rejected invitations for sporting reasons is in the squad.
According to reports, Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey will captain the team assisted by Daniel Amartey.
